metacritic (which is increasingly becoming just about the greatest site there is...) released their top games of 2008. for those who don't know what metacritic does, it takes the reviews of every magazine/website that submits a review on a certain game, album, movie, etc and creates one aggregate score. it's very similar to rottentomatoes but isnt just for movies.
anyway, here's the list...

I gotta say, this list seems pretty appropriate. gta iv is by far the best game i've played this year and its nice to see GoW make the list as well...
